It is a legally binding agreement between two parties to buy or sell a commodity or financial instrument, at an agreed price, on a specified date in the future.

KDF is a Trading Participant and Clearing Participant of BMD, which gives KDF the right to execute and clear all futures and options products traded on the exchange.

To open an individual account with KDF, the required documents are:

One copy of the Electronic Trading Application form
Two copies of the Futures Trading Agreement(Complete details on page 8)
One copy of NRIC (Malaysian) / Passport (Foreigner)
One copy of latest income tax statement/ 3 month pay slip / latest 3 months bank statement
RM10.00 stamping fee

Please visit our Office to sign the account opening form and submit the Futures trading Agreements, Risk Disclosure statement and other necessary forms.

Corporate Account
To open a corporate account with KDF, the required documents are:

One copy of the corporate account opening form
Two Copies of the Futures Trading Agreements
Certified true copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
Certified true copy of Form 9 (Certification of Incorporation)
Certified true copy of latest Form 44 (Registered Office)
Certified true copy of latest Form 49 (Register of Directors and Secretaries & Changes of Particulars)
Certified true copy of latest Form 24 (Return on Allotment of Shares)
Certified true copy of the latest Audited Annual Account
Directors’ Resolution authorising the opening of this account and naming the person authorised to trade and operate this account and their specimen signature.

*For foreign institution, please provide the certified true copy of legitimate equivalent.

Margin & Settlement
You are required to deposit up-front cash as an Initial Margin upon creation of the futures trading account. Initial Margin will be determined by the clearing house from time to time.
